Founder
Co-founder of the Energopark Group and CEO of Enercoutim, having developed several companies and projects in the sector since 2009, including the 4MW CPV Solar Demonstration Platform in Southern Portugal, managed by Enercoutim, and a pipeline of several MW auto-consumption solar PV and industrial Energy Efficiency projects in Portugal.
Marc is a Board Member of Energyin, the Portuguese renewable energy technology cluster, a member of the Algarve Regional Development Board for Energy, and member of the Brussels based smartEn (Smart Energy Europe). He heads business development, finance and investment in the growing integrated energy practice of the Group, Marc previously worked with ABN AMRO until 2004 (as banker and adviser to real estate development and IT services and software companies), and was a founding partner of Baltic Venture Partners (Latvia) and Avest Development (Ukraine), with focus on real estate investment and development.
Marc is a contributor to the European loT and peer to peer innovation projects, VICINITY and SHAR-Q.
Marc has a dual MBA from the Netherlands Nyenrode University and Simon School at University of Rochester. Hands-on practical experience in the energy and digital domains.
